The majority of foreign passport holders are required to obtain a visa for Cambodia to visit the country and experience its enticing mix of golden beaches, ancient temples, mouth-watering gastronomy, and unique culture. This has become even easier in recent years since the introduction of the Cambodia eVisa, which is availble for most nationalities with the exception of 10 countries including many Middle Eastern states.
Eligible citizens, including Dutch passport holders, are able to complete an online Cambodia visa application and receive an approved visa exclusively online, eliminating the need to apply from an embassy or consulate, or queue at the border for a Cambodia visa on arrival.
The government of Cambodia implemented the Cambodia online visa for Dutch citizens in order to facilitate the process of obtaining a Cambodia tourist visa from the Netherlands. The Cambodia eVisa for Dutch passport holders allows a maximum stay of 30 consecutive days in the country and is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
Holders of an approved Cambodia eVisa from the Netherlands can enter the country at any of the following ports of entry:
- Phnom Penh International Airport
- Siem Reap International Airport
- Cham Yeam (Koh Kong)
- Poi Pet (Banteay Meanchey)
- Bavet (Svay Rieng)
